Madeleine Price Ball is a post doc in George Church's lab at Harvard University. Her graduate work was in the same lab, developing high throughput DNA methylation profiling technology. Her current project is developing methods for evaluating clinically relevant variants found with whole genome sequencing.
Her husband, Chris Ball, has his own blog. He works at One Laptop Per Child and likes to talk about computer things. He's British.

In case you're curious about distant past - Madeleine attended Caltech in '97-'98 & '99-'02, graduating with a Biology major. They still made her do some physics though. She was a Mole. Before this she attended La Jolla High School, as did her three awesome younger siblings.
